Since my learning on digital marketing is never over, I enjoy reading new books and gaining more knowledge.
I found Content Rules by Ann Handley and C.C. Chapman on Amazon and decided to give it a try.
After all, they say that “Content is Kind” in the search engine optimization world so this would be a great addition to my library.

My goal is to help others who want to learn more about digital marketing to find excellent books and increase their knowledge.
That being said, this was a great book. I read it in a the span of a couple days.
Within a few minutes of starting to read it, I had to put it down to put into action some of the points.
The most important section for me as a small-business owner was the part about finding your own voice.
It is easy to copy other companies and try to match their website.
This book made a very impactful point that said to find out your own ‘voice’.
This struck me pretty hard.
As a digital marketing company in Austin, Texas there are tons of competitors.
Finding my own voice for my digital marketing company was the key to standing out among the crowd.
But who was I and what is my unique voice.
The book covered that as well.
In fact, the text had a whole chapter on the subject.
As I am writing this review, I already have ideas dancing in my brain about how I can make this website stand out by using my own voice.
I am inspired again and it is a great feeling.
For me, this was the most important part of the book and is the main reason I would recommend this book.
“Ignite your business” indeed!
I highly recommend this book.
It will absolutely help you with improving your content.
